Ballykissangel was always one of the most charming shows on TV during the 1990's, the ideal Sunday night show, the story of an English catholic priest who moves to a sleepy Irish village was wonderfully played by its excellent cast. Seasons 1 and 2 had seen Father Peter Clifford (Stephen Tompkinson) struggle with his feelings for bar owner Assumpta Fitzgerald (Dervla Kirwan), season three ups the ante considerably whilst still manage to involve the whole village.
