Elegantly lavish and somewhat star-studded, Coming Home is based on the best seller by Rosamunde Pilcher and follows Judith Dunbar as she makes her way in the world during the 1930's and 40's.
Judith is left behind at boarding school by her family, which is posted overseas in the days leading up to World War II. She comes of age in a time of turbulence and danger, but finds comfort in the wealthy Carey-Lewis family, whose estate on the Cornish coast, Nancherrow, becomes her surrogate home.
Emily Mortimer plays Judith Dunbar and stellar cast also includes Joanna Lumley and Peter O'Toole.
