Fess Parker was one of the Kings of the TV western back in the fifties and sixties and one of his most popular roles was as legendary western pioneer Daniel Boone. Set in Boonesborough, Kentucky in the 1770s, just before and during the American Revolution, the show follows as he and his family work together to tame the wild frontier of Kentucky. MRA Entertainment are releasing the series on DVD and we have two copies of season one to give away.
This first season of Daniel Boone introduces Daniel Boone, his wife Rebecca and children Jemima and Israel; as well as pal Yadkin, Oxford-educated Indian Mingo and cantankerous inkeeper Cincinnatus. It's greatly entertaining series that stands up very well today.
