I SPY VOLUME ONE

Umbrella / Entertainment / out now / 7 disc set

An important show for a number of reasons, 1960's tv series I Spy has been brought to DVD by Umbrella and to celebrate we have five copies to give away.

Not only was I Spy the first show to feature black and white performers on an equal footing in the shape of the brilliant Bill Cosby and Robert Culp and one that was a real departure from the often less than believable spy shows of the time.

Cosby plays Alexander Scott who is a top seeded tennis player and Culp is Kelly Robinson his trainer/personal assistant, however, in relaity, the pair are US agents out to stop the bady guys getting up to mischief. Never taking itself too seriously and with its Tennis circuit theme allowing for lots of over seas visits to places such as Hong Kong, Rome and even Marrakesh there is much to enjoy here.

Thanks to Umbrella we have five box sets of the complete first season to give away and to get yourself in the draw all you have to do is sign up to our new rss feed/email newsletter which keeps you right up to date with everything that is going on here at Memorable TV Towers.
