Opera. This is a production of Puccini’s lyric comedy, La Rondine (The Swallow), with stars of Australian and overseas opera, operetta and musical comedy. The setting is Paris 1913. Magda, mistress of a rich banker, alls in love with Ruggero and goes with him to the south of France. However, like the swallow, she must return to her old haunts.
