Network / 6x60m-e / 2001 (First Episode: Saturday 21 July / 7.30pm)
Family
challenge show presented by Kerri-Anne Kennerley and based on a UK

had to perform the challenge in front of a studio audience, during
their week of learning the families used a video diary to record their
progress. The series was pulled after three of its proposed 12
episodes with three already recorded episodes to be shown later in the
year.

Produced (and directed) by Storry Walton. Film sequences directed by
Gil Brealey.
Historical
drama series. Episodes in the life of a family living in the suburbs
especially that of Davey and his older brother Jack. Much of the
action centred around the hard times of the depressed 1930's ending
with outbreak of World War II. The tram used in the series was lent by
the Tramways Board and the serial only came about because the ABC
wanted to stop producing so many live plays and concentrate on
producing film drama instead. "Gil Brealey and I evolved
an unusual working relationship in which I produced the entire
project, and directed the television studio component - and Gil
directed filmed sequences." - Storry Walton
