Strange 'sports' show featuring roller skate Derby action, refereed by Jan Dorrigo, two teams competed against each other and the teams had names like The Thunderbirds and The Outlaws. The series was broadcast from the Alexandria Basketball Stadium.

Lifestyle. A team of five (including host Scott McGregor) spend 48 hours (with a budget of $7500 and while the owners were away) transforming a room in someone's home. Also on hand were Dagmar Sulzberger (labour) ,Craig Russell (painter), Tom Williams (carpenter) and Sophie Ward (designer). The show was like a cross between Ground Force and Backyard Blitz meets Changing Rooms.

Fantasy sitcom. The Twist children live with their father in a lighthouse on the Victoria coast and find strangeness and fantastic things happening to them on a regular basis. The first series of 13 was followed by a second almost 3 years later, this featured a largely different cast, then five years later the series re-emerged for a further two seasons. Round the twist is one of Australia's most sucessful TV exports, sold to 78 different countries, each series takes around 5 months to film and costs around $5 million to produce.

Late night chat show hosted Rove McManus and much in the style of the above entry.  At the end of March 2001 American comic Scott Capurro caused outrage with his stand up routine leading to the resignation of executive producer Craig Campbell. Regulars on the show included Corinne Grant and Peter Helliar.

Season one, made in 1974 was set in Crocker's Creek (filmed in Melborne) whilst season two (which didn't appear until 1976 was set in Turon Springs and filmed in Sydney (on the sets used for the show Ben Hall in fact). Season two was co-financed by the French company Antennae.

Crime drama series about a take no nonsense birding, boozing private detective (the Ryan of the title). During office hours, which tended to be very flexible, Ryan was assisted by his Girl Friday, Julie King. Mort Fine who helped create the show was an American responsible for shows like I-Spy. Rowena Wallace was amongst the guest stars.
