Antiques Roadshow Australia

Lifestyle Channel (Pay TV) / 6×60 minute episodes / 2005

First Episode Broadcast: Monday 5 December 2005 @ 10.00pm

An Australian version of the long running UK show that travels the country in search of rare antiques, usually setting up in a small hall with a steady stream of people bringing their antiques to be valued and whilst that might sound deathly dull it often makes for pulse racing TV as someone brings in a bowl they bought from a market for 50 cents and it turns out to be worth $10,000. Antiques experts including senior auctioneer at Sotheby’s Australia, Justin Miller, were on hand to set the values.
