Currently in production for Channel 10 is Bikie Wars: Brothers In Arms which is being made by Screentime, who these days are definitely at the forefront when it comes to dramas based on real life crime stories having scored huge success with the Underbelly franchise.

The mini-series will take for its main focus the stand off between two rival bikie gangs which became known in 1984 as The Milperra Massace when as things came to a head, seven people were left dead.

Des Monaghan who is one of the executive producers on the series said “The Milperra Massacre is a unique moment in our history and in many ways marks a time when the culture of bikie gangs began a period of fundamental change.”

No cast details have been revealed as yet and the series is due to air sometime in 2012.
