Carson’s Law (Channel 10 1983-1984, Lorraine Bayly)

Carson's Law

Period crime drama series Carson’s Law took us to 1920’s Melbourne. When her husband William dies, former lawyer Jennifer Carson is, in order to provide for her family, forced to start practicing again; William’s father Godfrey, also a lawyer was heavily involved with the show as were William’s brothers and sisters, Robert, Margery, Thomas and the younger Amy.

Carson’s Law was similar in format to the UK show Justice (which was set in the present day however). This series also had a soap element with it’s twice weekly episodes.
