Period drama serial Half A World Away took us to 1934 when air ace Roscoe Turner sets up a race between London and Australia, among those taking part are the famed Amy Johnson, English Tom Campbell-Black as well as Ray Parer and Geoff Hemsworth.

Known in some countries by the alternate title of The Great Air Race.
