In period drama serial Sara Dane, Juliet Jordan portrays a convict lass who arrives in Sydney in 1792 and slowly fights her way up the social ladder. Sara’s succession of husbands and lovers include actors Harold Hopkins, Sean Scully, Barry Quin and Brenton Whittle.
Adapted from one of Catherine Gaskin’s early novels, “Sara Dane” cost $1.5 million and was made by the South Australian Film Corporation.
