Junior Masterchef from September 12 on Network 10. With Masterchef proving to be one of the most popular shows ever broadcast on Australian TV a junior spin off was surely an obvious choice. OFFSPRING



Drama series Offspring (Sundays @ 8.30pm on Ten) follows Nina Proudman (played by Asher Keddie), an obstetrician who is foot loose and fancy free following a divorce, she has the rug pulled from under her though when she falls head over heels for new paediatrician Chris Havel. It's clearly obvious that there is a spark between the two of them and Nina would definitely like to have a relationship with Chris but it seems that shadows in his past are preventing him from committing. THE MYSTERIES OF THE BERMUDA TRIANGLE EXPOSED

This lost-esque stretch of ocean has always held us in its thrall and the intriguing documentary Bermuda Triangle which airs on Channel Nine next Tuesday @ 9.00pm follows a team of scientists, marine biologists, meteorologists, geologists and sundry other experts into the murky depths of the infamous triangle shaped area which has seen more than 2000 boats and planes (and some 5000 people) disappear without trace since record keeping began in 1950. In this entertaining series Jamie Oliver visits six different parts of Europe and North Africa to experience local cultures through the food they produce. Oliver displays genuine enthusiasm for the places he visits, there is a great childlike glee about him actually, probably no doubt as the show gives him a great chance to get back to what he does best - cooking. AIRDATE ANNOUNCED FOR COPS L.A.C WITH KATE RITCHIE



Channel 9 have announced that the new Kate Ritchie starring crime drama series Cops L.A.C will air from Thursday September 2 at 8.30pm. Filmed in and around Sydney and set at large scale police station Seaview Local Area Command (hence the L.A.C in the title). The 13 part series also features Martin Dingle Wall, Gary Sweet, Denise Roberts and Roy Billing. Read the full story ....

LETTERS AND NUMBERS - WEEKNIGHTS ON SBS ONE



Letters and Numbers, the new game show, is the Australian version of the long running UK show Countdown (obviously the name had to be changed because of the legendary Oz pop music show of the seventies and eighties). Hosted by veteran newsreader Richard Morecroft the show features two members of the public competing in a series of letter and number rounds. In the letter rounds they pick from 9 letters to try and make the longest word possible in only thirty seconds whilst in the number rounds they have to try and reach a specific number from numbers chosen at random.
