Doctors and nurses in a maternity unit become increasingly concerned that their boss Roger Hurley is not as competent as he should be with difficult cases - but they find that reporting his failings to senior management is not as easy or as welcome as it should be. Initially shown on the BBC's digital only channel BBC3 (you could only access the channel if you had a digital set top box or integrated TV) it later got a network repeat on BBC2 which could be seen by the whole country on 10 November 2004.

The four main players were actors - all other parts, such as lawyers and clinical specialists were played by real professionals with improvised dialogue.

Fantasy drama. Young 16 year old Titus Groan attempts to break free of the confines of the Gormenghast castle that is his home. The drama, tying in with the Gormanghast serial on BBC2(see separate entry), was a mixture of live action and computer generated images and was based on one of Peakes later (and unpublished stories).
