Period crime drama series. In the mid sixties London copper Nick Rowan and his doctor wife Kate move to the sleepy Yorkshire village of Aidensfield. Following the departures of the two main characters the series began to open out and focus on more of the residents of the village especially wily Claude Jeremiah Greengrass and new cop PC Mike Bradley. Latterly the show has lost both Greengrass and Bradley. The series continues into 2005 with another 14 episodes. The 250th episode was broadcast 5 September 2004. And then there is Harrison, the sinister stranger who haunts her and who exerts a strange fascination over her, despite the fact that she is repelled by him. It is Harrison who tells her that Robert is selling secrets to the enemy, and who makes her a distasteful proposition. He will keep his information to himself, at a price. The price is Stella herself.

Incredibly bizarre attempt to make a sitcom around Adolf Hitler's home life painting him as a suburbanite living in an apartment with Eva Braun next door to a Jewish family in 1938. Highly controversial the show was pulled after one episode with the other seven remaining unseen. The show was made by fledging satellite channel BSB so it's highly likely that hardly anybody saw the show anyway.
