"Despite generating some critical acclaim - The Guardian recently described the show as 'an entertaining slice of mainstream drama that suggests Palmer is doing fine post-EastEnders' - producers pulled the plug on a second series after ratings failed to live up to expectations, The show opened its inaugural run with 5.2m viewers and never really threatened to add any more, averaging only a 24 per cent share.
