Medical drama series. The problems of a medical practice in the Derbyshire peak district. Initially the first three seasons concentrated on the relationship between Doctors Jack Kerruish and Beth Glover. The pair later married and left the practice, since then new doctors have come and gone with alarming regularity. Series 2001 ended with a cliffhanger with EVA POPE pushing herself and MAGGIE O'NEIL off a cliff and with Central then announcing that no more episodes would be made this meant that the cliff-hanger that ended the last series will presumably never be resolved.
