SciFi drama serial. An astronaut returns from space contaminated by an ever growing life form, it's up to Professor Bernard Quatermass to save the day. The first of the Quatermass quartet, the BBC used up their entire drama budget (all three thousand pounds of it) on the serial. Quatermass has become one of the all time greats of Cult TV.
