THE REGIMENT

Period drama series. Stories of a group of soldiers in a regiment posted first to the Boar War and later in India during the years 1895 - 1904. The series grew out of a Drama Playhouse broadcast Monday 23 November 1970. That episode was called The Father of the Regiment. The show ran for two seasons and broadcast dates were as follows 1. 28 Feb to 22 May1972 and 2. 23 Feb to 4 May 1973.
