Black Jack Point is a thrilling new novel by renowned author Jeff Abbott and comes as an highly recommended read indeed. With more twists than a bowl of fettuccine and a great plot that keeps you entertained from the first word, Abbott weaves an entertaining story full of pirates, kidnapping, mobsters and intrigue with just enough of a love story and a myriad of subjects going on that all tie in to form an excellently narrated tale.

Whit Mosley is the local judge & coroner in a small coastal community with a coloured history that lies steeped in buried treasure and John Lafitte’s Piracy folk lore. When the rather brutal double homicide of his tarot reading girlfriend’s uncle upsets his vibe and causes him to embark on a journey of long lost legends, buried treasure and locals with all sorts of agendas. Fast paced action abounds and Whit must unravel the truth alongside his only ally and together they must stay one step ahead of their enemy before it is too late…

Note: You definitely need to listen to Jimmy Buffet while you read this book!
