Catching on-Love with an Avid Fly Fisher by Carol J Morrison
Publishers: Freestone Press

Reviewer: Fran

This book is made up of stories about Carol’s relationship with Ed and his consuming passion for fly fishing.  Each chapter is an individual story relating to different periods within their marriage.  As you progress through the book Carol shows how she learnt to accept Eds obsession over time and how their married lives adjusted accordingly.
When I first started to read this book I hated it.  I had to force myself to turn each page and then the next.  By the time I was a third of the way through I was so completely charmed that I found myself smiling and reading passages aloud.  The genuine affection between Ed and Carol is  palpable and the descriptions of their arguments made me laugh.

This is an utterly delightful, and far too short, book.  I could easily have kept reading had there been more to it.  Carole comes across as somebody that I think I would like.
