CLONE RANGERS by Emma Laybourn
Publishers: Random House

Reviewer: Kate (aged 12)

Clone Rangers is an entertaining tail (geddit?) about an abandoned city  of the future that is home to gangs of  nowhere to go to children and dogs.

Lead character is the dog Admiral Benbow and when he rescues the wily Wilf  from a fire Benbow has to lose a leg and that is when he thinks his policing career in the abandoned city is all over.

But then Benbow learns that the scientist  Garracker has cloned him to find three missing kids, Benbow doesn’t think it’s such a Good idea, I mean you never can tell what three little puppies Can get up to………………

This is an excellent book and there are some very funny Parts in it such as “You cloned my leg?” asked Benbow dazed.

“We cloned you, you numskull!” snarled Garracker.

“Three perfect Benbows ……………… ”

I give it five stars. I think that the age of the readers should be 7-adult.
