The Clares buy a large run down house in Bristol, the former owner Mrs Betterton is rather keen to sell and even before the children have finished unpacking they are disturbed by strange goings on.
The scene is set with The Clare's moving into the dusty, run down house. It's clear, what with strange pictures and antiques playing a major part of proceedings in this episode, that the house has its own agenda.
