Western action adventure series. Hawkeye and his sidekick Chingachgook do battle with Hurons in the 1750's.

An anthology series that dealt with stories of immigrants to Canada. Writers included Rick Salutin, Anna Reiser and Nika Rylsk.

 

HERE'S DUFFY

Producer: Bill Davis / Music Arranger: Ed Karan

Variety series starring Jack Duffy along with Jill Foster and The Crescrendos. Duffy had made his name appearing with The Tommy Dorsey Band.

HI DIDDLE DAY

Children's puppet show set in the home of Mayor Gertrude Diddle in the town of Crabgrass, Ottawa. Diddle had several animals living with her including a dragon named Durwood and a wolf called Wolfgang. Wyn Canty made regular singing appearances on the show.

Weekday soap style drama series. Stories of divorced Dr Neal Chapman (a man with a hectic social life - involved with numerous women throughout the shows run). Chapman worked as a councilor in the town of Port Hamilton.

Variety series that supposedly came from the town of Willow Bend in Manitoba, main players were The James Duncan Singers.

Canadian version of the UK series Ballykissangel, this saw new minister Daniel Cooper arrive on Hope Island and initially face a bit of conflict with the residents but later gets friendly with single mum and bar owner Alex Stone.

Music series hosted by Irish band (resident in Canada) the Irish Rovers who played mostly traditional songs. The group were George, Will and Joe Millar, Jimmy Ferguson and Wilcil McDonald.
