5.EMERGENCY WARD 9 BBC2/11 Apr 1966/Thirty Minute Theatre Director: Gareth Davies with Terence De Marney as Flanders. An old man bickers with a young lay preacher in the bed next to him.

6.WHERE THE BUFFALO ROAM BBC1/2 Nov 1966/The Wednesday Play Director: Gareth Davies A young Welsh lad lives in Cowboy based fantasy world and later goes on a real killing spree. With Hywel Bennett as Willy Turner

7MESSAGE FOR POSTERITY BBC1/3 May 1967/The Wednesday Play Director: Gareth Davies With Joseph O'Conor as Browning.

8.THE BONEGRINDER* Associated Rediffusion/13 May 1968/ITV Playhouse Director: Joan Kemp-Welch A strange man inveigles his way into a household. (A common theme among Potter's work).

9.SHAGGY DOG LWT/The Company of Five/10 Nov 1968 Bizarre tale of a man going for a job interview shooting a number of people and then jumping from the 14th floor of the building. with John Neville and Cyril Luckham.

13.LAY DOWN YOUR ARMS ITV/23 May 1970/Saturday Night Theatre Director: Christopher Morahan Problems of virgin Private Robert Hawk, a Russian language Clerk doing his national service. Based in part on Potter's own national service and the same theme later reemerges in Lipstick on Your Collar. With Nikolas Simmonds as Hawk.

14. ANGELS ARE SO FEW BBC1/5 Nov 1970/Play for Today Director: Gareth Davies Strange individual Martin Biddle truly believes he is an angel and targets various people in a bid to teach them a lesson. with Tom Bell as Martin Biddle.

15.PAPER ROSES* Granada/13 Jun 1971. A critic watches a play about the last day at work of Fleet Street reporter Clarence Hubbard. With Bill Maynard as Hubbard.

16.TRAITOR* BBC1/14 Oct 1971/Play for Today.  Former spy Adrian Harris is visited in Moscow by Western journalists. With John Le Mesurier as Harris.

17.CASANOVA* BBC2/16 Nov - 21 Dec 1971/ 6 Part serial.

18.FOLLOW THE YELLOW BRICK ROAD BBC2/4 Jul 1972/The Sextet. Jack Black visits a psychiatrist convinced he is appearing in a TV play.

19.ONLY MAKE BELIEVE BBC1/ 1x75m-e / 12 Feb 1973/Play for Today Director: Robert Knights / A kind of 'companion-piece' to Angels Are So Few in which a TV playwright struggles to write his latest play (which is Angels Are So Few). With Keith Barron as Christopher Hudson  and Georgina Hale as Sandra George / Alun Armstrong as Michael Biddle / Rowena Cooper as Cynthia Nicholls / Laurence Hardy as Doctor / George Howe as Mr Cawser / John Malcolm as Interviewer / Geoffrey Palmer as Richard Nicholls / Susan Richards as Mrs Cawser / Monika Ringwald as Danish Girl 

20.A TRAGEDY OF TWO AMBITIONS BBC2/21 Nov 1973/Wessex Tales Producer: Irene Shubik, Director: Michael Tuchner / A Thomas Hardy short story adapted by Potter about two brothers training for the priesthood, with the cast headed by John Hurt and Edward Petherbridge.

21.JOE'S ARK* BBC1/14 Feb 1974/Play for Today Director: Alan Bridges / Pet shop owner Joe turns his back on God when his daughter gets cancer. With Freddie Jones(as Joe), Angharad Rees and Dennis Waterman.

22.SCHMOEDIPUS BBC1/20 Jun 1974/Play for Today / A young man called Glen inveigles his way into the house of married Elizabeth claiming to be her son. Potter later reworked this play for his fim Track 29. With Anna Cropper as Elizabeth and Tim Curry as Glen.

23.LATE CALL* BBC2/ 1 - 22 Mar 1975/ 4 Part serial. Adaption of A.N. Wilson's novel.

24.DOUBLE DARE* BBC1/6 Apr 1976/Play for Today with Alan Dobie as Martin Ellis and Kika Markham as Helen.

25.WHERE ADAM STOOD* BBC2/21 Apr 1976

26.BRIMSTONE AND TREACLE* BBC/Recorded 2 - 4 Mar 1976 scheduled for transmission at the end of Apr 76, witheld by the BBC it received it's premiere on 25 Aug 1987.

27.THE MAYOR OF CASTERBRIDGE* BBC2/22 Jan - 5 Mar 1978/7 Part serial  Adaption by Potter of Thomas Hardy's novel.

28.  PENNIES FROM HEAVEN* BBC1/7 Mar - 11 Apr 1978/ Six part serial.

30.BLADE ON THE FEATHER* LWT/19 Oct 1980

31.RAIN ON THE ROOF LWT/ 26 Oct 1980 / Director: Alan Bridges / A young illiterate, Billy, goes for reading lessons with bored, sexually frustrated housewife Janet, but Billy later turns out to have murder on his mind. with Cheryl Campbell as Janet.

35.VISITORS* BBC2/22 Feb 1987/Screen Two An adaption by Potter's of his own stage play Sufficient Carbohydrate.

36.CHRISTABEL* BBC2/16 Nov - 7 Dec 1988/Four part serial / An adaption by Potter of Christabel Bielenberg's autobiography about life under Nazi rule.

37.BLACKEYES* BBC2/29 Nov- 20 Dec 1989/ Four part serial.

38.LIPSTICK ON YOUR COLLAR* C4-Whistling Gypsy/21 Feb - 28 Mar 1993/6 Part serial

39.MESSAGE FOR POSTERITY* BBC2/29 Oct 1994/'Performance' / A restaging of Potter's 1967 play.

40.MIDNIGHT MOVIE BBC2-Whistling Gypsy/26 Dec 1994 Director: Renny Rye. / A Potter adaption of the novel by Elizabeth Ashe about a film producer's nymphomaniac wife turning to murder. with Louise Germaine and Brian Dennehy.
