Documentary. An indepth look at the life of camp Carry On star Kenneth Williams whose life was emotionally empty and whose stage persona couldn't be separated from his real one. Although homosexual Williams lived most of his life alone in a sparsely furnished apartment, spending his evenings writing in his diaries pouring scorn on much of the people he worked with, especially Sid James whom he didn't get on with.

This documentary took a look at the event of rock star Kurt Cobain's suicide. Film-maker Broomfield clashed with Cobain's widow, fellow muso Courtney Love, over the films content.
