CELEBRITY DRIVING SCHOOL

UK / BBC1 / 4x30m / started 24 February 2003

A celebrity version of the docusoap Driving School shown in the run up to Comic Relief 2003. Six celebrity non-drivers take driving lessons and try to pass their tests. Since the original Driving School series the compulsory theory test has been introduced which must be passed before the actual driving test can be taken. This proved a major stumbling block for many of the celebrities featured requiring many re-tries until they passed it. Taking part were Gareth Gates, Natalie Cassidy, Paul O'Grady, Simon Day, Nadia Sawalha and Jade Goody. The results were announced on Comic Relief night 14 March - they ALL failed!
