2 BROKE GIRLS SEASON ONE ON DVD AND BLU-RAY

Warner Home Video Australia will release the first season of popular Channel 9 comedy 2 Broke Girls on 17 October 2012 on both Blu-Ray and DVD.

The sitcom stars Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs as room-mates trying to save money to start their own business.

Kat plays Max Black and exciting new discovery Beth plays as Caroline Channing. One’s street-smart and blue-collar born; the other’s book smart and nouveau bankrupt. Together, as unlikely roommates and even more unlikely friends, Max and Caroline are two broke girls waiting tables in a Brooklyn diner while amassing the startup money it takes to launch a cupcake business.

Saving the $250,000 they need won’t be easy, but Max and Caroline are proving that life can be fun — even if you’re broke — and the pair’s saucy humor and blossoming friendship makes for a priceless adventure.

The series, which also stars Garrett Morris (Saturday Night Live), Jonathan Kite (I’m in the Band) and Matthew Moy (Scrubs) — was co-created by Michael Patrick King, who serves as executive producer, and comedian Whitney Cummings (Whitney). The series is from Bonanza Productions Inc. in association with MPK Productions and Warner Bros. Television.

The set includes all 24 episodes from the first season as well as some alternate jokes and a featurette focusing on Kat and Beth.
