CHARLOTTE'S WEB

Released by Paramount on 5 April 2007

Released in Australia in a world wide first is the wonderfully charming family movie Charlotte's Web.

Praised as an instant classic the beloved story of inspiration and friendship is based on the best-selling children's paperback book of all-time, this heartwarming film was hailed by critics and embraced by audiences, generating more than $80 million at the box office.

The classic story of loyalty, trust & sacrifice comes to life in this live-action adaptation. Fern (Dakota Fanning) is one of only two living beings who sees that Wilbur is a special animal as she raises him, the runt of the litter, into a terrific & radiant pig. As Wilbur moves into a new barn, he begins a second profound friendship with the most unlikely of creatures - a spider named Charlotte - and their bond inspires the animals to come together as a family.

When the word gets out that Wilbur’s days are numbered, it seems that only a miracle will save his life. A determined Charlotte - who sees miracles in the ordinary - spins words into her web in an effort to convince the farmer that Wilbur is some pi’ and worth saving. Charlotte’s Web, written by EB White with illustrations by Garth Williams, is the best-selling children’s paperback of all time.

The Charlotte's Web DVD bonus features spin a web full of fun and include … Flacka's Pig Tales a tongue-in-cheek look at the on-set antics of the farm animals hosted by one of the real-life pigs from the film

Ordinary Miracle Music video featuring three-time Grammy® Award winner Sarah McLachlan

How Do They Do That a fun-filled up close & personal look at the animal trainers who worked with the sheep, cows, geese, horses and pigs.

Some Voices a featurette that invites viewers to meet the star-studded voice cast who brought Wilbur, Charlotte and the rest to life.

A Day At The Fair a colourful day at the fair documented by way of a fun menu-based photo gallery
