Thunderpants is what a boy's nickname is at when he gets picked on by his fellow students.  He has never had a real friend until he meets a boy in hs class with no sense of smell. Thunderpants was born with two stomachs and he can not always control his pop-offs (aka farts) - when his friend goes missing Thunderpants finds himself charged with murder. ZOMBIE BUMS FROM URANUS by Andy Griffiths (Book published by Pan MacMillan)

Following on from The Day My Bum Went Psycho Zac is back with his talking bum!
After Zac leaves the Academy of Bum Fighters strange things start to happen, like big green asteroids coming down and people with ginormous bums trying to eat anything and everything in reach. Zac is also amazed to learn that his Gran is the "great pincher" and his parents are also bumfighters. Not only is that weird enough but the Great White Bum is back and alive. Fantastic!!!

The Unvisibles is a great book. It tells about two boys who both get picked on at school and at home, one day one of the boys discovers a magazine containing a word able to make himself invisible, trouble starts when a greedy antiques dealer steals the magazine and the boy can't make himself visible again. Whilst trying to get the magazine back both boys discover a smuggling plot - will they get to the police in time and will the boy ever become visible again, ah now that would be telling....

GROOVY GRANNY by Cate Haynes (Book Published by Fremantle Arts Centre Press)

Groovy Granny is a great new picture book written by Cate Haynes. It is a good book for beginner and young readers... no hard words! Alll kids will love the bright pictures illustrated by Shane Tholen. The book is about a groovy granny who decides to become normal but with the help of her grandchildren learns how to be groovy again.
