THE WATER'S EDGE

Released by Magna Pacific. A He Said She Said Review by Knowles and Knowles.

Starring Daniel Baldwin, Chandra West, Emmanuelle Vaugier and Nathan Fillion / Cert: M15+

Story A troubled couple travel to a remote waterside retreat to repair their marriage when they stumble upon a nasty crime.  In attempting to assist the alleged victim further crimes are perpetrated. This leads to the inevitable cover-up attempts. The introduction of a conspiracy that goes to the top of the town hierarchy comes as no surprise and inevitable the good guys come out on top.

He Says  This movie falls into the “What were they thinking” genre. A big disappointment, I found myself hoping that this waterside retreat was the same where Jason from Friday the 13th stalked and he might jump out and take out the whole town. It wasn’t and so this turned out to be a poor production with nothing to make it interesting.

She Says What a complete stinker!  I can’t believe I wasted my time watching this movie.  I can’t believe anybody wasted their time making this drivel.  If I were one of the employees of this movie, I would leave it off my resume as it is no credit to any of the parties involved. This was completely predictable and crappy.  It wasn’t even bad enough to make it good.
