DARKNESS FALLS

Released by Columbia

A horror movie about a tooth fairy with murderous intent Darkness Falls is heavy on suspense as a suburban family find themselves under attack, directed by Jonathan Lieberman and starring Chaney Kley, Angus Sampson and Emma Caulfield Darkness Falls actually has a lot more going for it than most modern horror flicks as it doesnt totally rely on gore to get its thrill but concentrates on an air of tension and unease, although to be fair a better design job could have been done on the tooth fairy herself, with her white robes and white mask she just isnt that scary.

Although offering nothing new the movie still entertains and the extras package is excellent from two commentaries featuring director, writer and producers as well as a very entertaining documentary on the myth of the tooth fairy.

There are also deleted scenes, a making of feature and storyboard to actual movie comparisons.
