Hideous
Kinky is a movie of small things that all go towards the whole
experience; Winslet is very good here in this non mainstream movie
allowing Julia to become a fuller person as she becomes immersed in the
culture of Marrakech, Taghaoui is especially good as Julia’s lover who
also becomes something of a father figure to Julia’s children.
Definitely
a good movie and one that in the right mood will be enjoyed immensely
with its scenes of smoky Marrakech markets and beautiful sunsets.
