of Parisian ennui and sophistication Naomi Watts is living in Paris and
just about to be divorced by her philandering husband, her world
crumbling around her she seeks solace in her visiting sister (a bubbly
Kate Hudson) and together the pair decide to shake up the streets of gay
Paree, however before you know it Kate is having an affair with a much
older married man.
The
girls look beautiful of course, as does Paris and the script contains
plenty to enjoy but the movie overall feels a little flat, you expect
slow moving with Merchant-Ivory of course but the films 112minutes
really do feel like 112 minutes.
