The DVD Review

NATIONAL LAMPOON'S CLASS REUNION

Released by MRA Entertainment. Out now to buy.

If you like your movies to be of the gross humoured American Pie variety then National Lampoon’s Class Reunion from 1982 is going to be right up your street, a send up of horror movies such as Carrie and the slasher genre the flick sees a group of former students getting together for a reunion at Lizzie Borden High only to find themselves being picked off one by one by a homicidal psychopath mental institution escapee. Very tongue in cheek and with a script by Home Alone alumni John Hughes Class Reunion is very hit and miss, with some top quality laugh out moments and some inane misses, the cast are pretty much of the no name variety but is headlined by Gerrit Graham, Fred McCarren and Misty Rowe.

Watch out for the cameo by Chuck Berry as the act performing at the reunion.

No extras.
