ANYONE IN IT WE KNOW?

Sacha Baron Cohen, Emilio Rivera, Charles Dance, Michael Gambon, Isabelle Pasco, Kellie Bright

WHAT’S IT ABOUT THEN?

When the Staines John Nike Leisure Centre is due for demolition Ali G (Sacha Baron Cohen) decides as an MP to try and save it, he is helped by the devious Deputy Prime Minister David Carlton (Charles Dance) who has pplans to take over the country, before you can say "Ai" Ali G is ensconced in the Houses of Parliament.

SO IS IT ANY GOOD?

Having started out life as a minor character on the UK satirical comedy the 11 O' Clock Show Ali G has become something of an Icon, especially with those he originally poked fun at. His big screen movie debut Ali G Indahouse has all the smut, innuendo and downright hilarity that we have come to know and occasionally love.

Opening with a great "drive-by" along Staines the movie has plenty of funny moments but it's definitely not a family movie though with Ali's obsession with chasing the "punani" and his Julie (Kellie Bright).

Backing up Ali G are a couple of stalwart British actors Michael Gambon and Charles Dance, who occasionally look a little embarrassed (especially Dance in his transvestite get up) but generally enjoy themselves. Supermodel Naomi Campbell also pops up in some of Ali's dreams (in his dreams he is a legendary stud).

Whilst Ali's G's gangsta talk may sometimes be impenetrable if you are familiar with the character in any way shape or form then you should fine much to enjoy here.

ANY SPECIAL FEATURES?

Ali G and his mate and his mate Ricky (Martin Freeman) turn in a reasonable amusing commentary, there are stacks of deleted scenes and bloopers, a learn to talk like Ali G feature and best of all a video diary from the set by Ali himself, to finish there is a photo gallery and and trailers.
