ANYONE
IN IT WE KNOW?
Donald
Trump, Bill Rancic, Kwame Jackson, Amy Henry, Jason Curtis,
WHAT’S
IT ABOUT THEN?
Reality
show in which billionaire Donald
Trump passes on his business
wisdom to would be apprentices,
but Trump is also a grim reaper:
One "apprentice" gets
fired at the end of each show.
In the end just one will be left
standing to claim a
$250,000-a-year job with Trump.
It's eat or be eaten or, as
Trump puts it: "the suite
or the street."
SO
IS IT ANY GOOD?
With
its very groovy packaging, Trump announces that “you’re fired”
when you open up the set, The Apprentice is a great new release from
Universal. One of recent TV’s most unlikely hits The Apprentice fires
on all cylinders to revitalise the flagging reality TV genre. Trump,
despite one of the weirdest hairstyles on TV - not so much a comb-over
more a comb-forward, is a great TV character, he talks the talk and
takes no nonsense. Over the course of the fifteen episodes, which of
course get tenser and tenser, he whittles down the original sixteen
apprentices until just one remains.
A
kind of Survivor for business types The Apprentice is great fun. And who
won? Well we’re not telling!!
