WHAT’S IT ABOUT THEN?

It’s all back to Boston ’s favorite bar was Paramount continue their releases of classic sitcom Cheers – now up to season three.

SO IS IT ANY GOOD?

It’s all change with season three, most especially in the dynamic of Sam and Diane’s relationship and the arrival of now legendary character Frasier Crane (Kelsey Grammer). This would also be the last season to feature the wonderful Nicholas Colasanto as coach (he died after the taping of the episode Cheerio Cheers).

The shows humour doesn’t change though, still very funny, with more laugh out loud moments then 10 of today’s generally lax sitcoms put together.

By now of course the regulars are supremely comfortable with each other, Grammer as the prissy Psychiatrist Frasier Crane first in effortlessly and cleaverly allows the writers the chance to let Sam and Diane’s relationship change course.

ANY SPECIAL FEATURES?

Extras include virtual Vera: a feature called shrink wrapped which looks at the arrival of Frasier; a tour of the Cheers bar set and a look back at the life of Nicholas Colasanto.
