in the early 1990’s it looked
like Jack Nicholson was content
to trade on his familiar
Devilish persona, more in the
newspapers than he was being
seen on screen – Man Trouble
though, made in 1992, was
somewhat of a return to form.
Nicholson
plays Harry Bliss, owner of the
House of Bliss Guard Dog agency,
who is hired to look after
classical singer Joan Spruce
(Ellen Barkin) when she starts
receiving threats against her
life.
