WHAT’S
IT ABOUT THEN?
A
comedic representation of the
power of gossip to spread.
Kevin Taylor(Jordan Bridges) is
a struggling screenwriter who
invents the idea of a hot new
script that is supposedly
written by a revolutionary new
writer. As the lie spreads, it
is like chinese wispers, with
the viewer not knowing where the
next twist in the plot will go.
To make matters worse his
ex-girlfriend, a produce (Marrissa
coughlan), finds out about the
false idea and tries to take
advantage of the hype that it
has created. What ensues is a
battle of the minds between the
two over who can take advantage
of
Hollywoods
obsession for fresh new ideas.
SO
IS IT ANY GOOD?
New
Suit is a tale of the unscrupulous nature of the people working and
struggling in Hollywood. It is also running commentary of the lies and
deceit which goes on amongst producing agencies in order to get the
glory and wealth of potential movie making scripts. Initially this Hollywood style seems too overbearing for young and naive
Kevin Taylor, as he encounters many traps early on. It is entertaining
to watch how he finds his way out of these traps, and has some fun along
the way. A very hilarious story line, with many typical Hollywood arguments, funny one liners and mind game
tactics.
