ANYONE IN IT WE KNOW?

Christine Lahti, Campbell Scott, Kirsty Mitchell, Allison Pill, John Heard

WHAT’S IT ABOUT THEN?

This telemovie based on the novel by Anita Shreve (who also co-wrote the script) has all the hallmarks of your classic midday movie – plot twists, bad soundtrack, some dodgy acting and a short running time.

Christine Lahti (who seems to be trying to steal Jaclyn Smith’s crown as the queen of the TV Movie these days) plays Kathryn Lyon whose life is turned upside down when her seemingly perfect pilot husband is killed in a plane crash (husband Jack was the pilot in charge of the flight), learning that not only might the crash

have been the result of an explosion but that her husband may have been keeping more than a few secrets from her Kathryn starts to dig a little deeper, her search taking her to Ireland and the realisation that her husband was living a double life.

SO IS IT ANY GOOD?

The Pilot’s Wife is reasonably engrossing, despite having a slightly seen it all before air but it does keep you watching to the end, none of the cast really standout, even Lahti as the truth seeking wife seems a little jaded, nevertheless it remain watchable whilst it’s on.

ANY SPECIAL FEATURES?

No extras just the trailer.
