Johnny

WHAT’S
IT ABOUT THEN?
Mort
Rainey (Johnny Depp) is a
successful author going through
a messy divorce and living a
reclusive life in his home in
the woods when the highly
sinister Mr Shooter (John
Turturro) turns up claiming Mort
has been plagiarising his work,
things take a decided turn for
the sinister – with murderous
results.
SO
IS IT ANY GOOD?
Secret
Window is a real edge of seat movie, thrilling, scary and with great
performances. Based on the novella Secret Window, Secret Garden which
appeared in Stephen Kings Four Past Midnight collection, Secret Window
has a top notch twist ending (which we won’t reveal here of course)
that you really don’t see coming and Depp just keeps on getting better
and better with every movie these days.
Director
David Koepp very cleverly lets the plot points play out without making
things too obvious and just when you think you can relax for a moment
throws in another scary tension cranker. One of the releases of the
month and a definite must see.
ANY
SPECIAL FEATURES?

a few; There are three featurettes going behind the scenes (From Book to

director Koepp to be a witty, erudite director; 4 deleted scenes (two

computerised scenes which were put together to help the director
visualise key scenes; There are also trailers for Secret Window,
