Based
on the popular series of books by Helen Craig and Katharine Holabird,
Angelina Ballerina is a gorgeously animated series of stories, Angelina
is a thoroughly modern minded young mouse, independent and strong
willed, this release features four stories and sees Angelina getting out
of her depth whilst trying to make a movie in lead story Lights, Camera,
Action! Being truck by the green eyed monster in Anya’s Visit, getting
mixed up with spooky goings on in Henry’s Halloween and getting
involved in Billycart racing in Sammy’s Club.
With
it’s wonderfully comforting voice overs from Finty Williams and her
legendary mum Judi Dench Angelina Ballerina has a good heart and it’s
intrinsically good stories should appeal to all pre-schoolers, not just
ballet loving little girls. Enjoyable stuff.
