amok above ground, 500 years after being cryogenically frozen during a
breast augmentation one time stripper Cleopatra wakes up and before you
can say short skirt she has joined a pair of female freedom fighters (Hel
and Sarge) in a bid to rid the Earth’s topside of Baileys.
Certainly
a series with plenty of interest and we’re not just talking skimpy
outfits or pole dancing exploits here (the girls are a bit of a
futuristic Charlie’s Angels, even so far as having a mysterious
“voice” who directs them in their missions) Cleopatra 2525 ran for
28 episodes, initially in a half hour format and then later towards the
end of the shows run in hour long segments, it’s packed full of
gadgets, action and a sly humour that greatly adds to the fun. Not a
show to take as serious scifi but one that is fluffy and fun. |
