IS IT ANY GOOD?
Dark but funny Indie flick that manages to avoid too
many obvious jokes in favour of some strong characterization from Bacon
and a twist in the tail ending that really does surprise. On occasion
you do feel that first time writers and directors Mitch Rouse and Jay
Leggett are going with gross factor just for the sake of it but mostly
they manage to hit the mark.
This straight to video title caused a big stir at the
most recent Sundance Film Festival so how it missed out on a cinema
release we are not too sure but it does make perfectly acceptable Friday
Night rent a movie fare. |
