On board ship Scott "Rhymes with Dracula"
Bakula is strong captain Jonathan Archer whilst his number one is the
cat suited (lets face no modern Trek is complete without a sexy co-lead
in a catsuit) T'Pol (Jolene Blalock), other major characters include
engineer "Trip" Tucker (Connor Trineer) and communications
officer Hoshi Sato (Linda Park); Chief Surgeon was Dr. Phlox (John
Billingsley) who was actually a Denobulan recruit from Earth's
Interspecies Medical Exchange.
What's
nice about this first series (besides the superb silver plastic casing
that the series comes in) is the way that early Trek is explored, so we
have use of the Phasers and a new device called "The Transporter"
as well as coming across The Vulcans, Klingons, The Ferengi and the
Andorans. In conclusion Enterprise turns out to be just as essential as
the Trek series that went before and this first season ends on a
fantastic clifhanger episode (Shockwave) that sets up nicely for the
forthcoming season two. Bring it on!!
