One
of the new breed of reality shows, part game show and part reality
Operatunity proves itself to be surprisingly compelling, over 2500
hopefuls auditioned for the series by sending in video tapes of them
singing, after weeding those down to a hundred the drama begins in
earnest as these 100 have to then prove themselves in front of the ENO
judges - soon only 16 are left and unlike the traditional image of the
opera singer these are from all walks of life from a girl who works in
Tescos (a supermarket chain like Coles) to an investment banker to a
blind man. It's
the human aspect that really captures the interest of course, how the
