The Batman Volume One: Training For Power - The Memorable TV DVD Review

The three episodes on this first volume of The Batman bring us the early days of Bruce Wayne and his alter ego, giving us a new spin on an oft told character.

The Batman sees the character embarking on just his third year as Gotham City ’s chief protector, still young and liable to make mistakes Batman finds himself battling foes who would become legendary, including the likes of The Joker, The Penguin and Bane.

If you are familiar with Batman’s that have gone before then you may be surprised by some of the re-imaginings of the characters and villains but new younger viewers will be thrilled by the pace and style of this cleverly animated series.

This first volume includes the first three episodes and more are to come, The Batman has proven to be quite the hit with its new audience and its easy to see why.
