Wildboyz The Complete 2nd Season (Uncensored)

Genre defying spin on the Jackass theme in which Chris Pontius and Steve-O travel the worlds far flung places (Brazil, India, Indonesia and Australia amongst them) in search of weird and dangerous animals and pull of practical jokes and stunts into the bargain.

SO IS IT ANY GOOD?

Jackass opened the floodgates for puerile, big kid pranks and sickening stunts on mainstream TV, Wildboyz takes that format out into the big wide world and amid a flurry of fighting Komodo Dragons, wrestling bears and water ski-ing with alligators amps up the gross out factor. Steve-O and Pontius had been a major part of the success of Jackass so it was kinda inevitable that they would continue once that show became too outrageous for MTV to handle, you have to wonder about the sanity of the boys at times, although you can’t help buy like them. The two discs in this contain the whole second season and although it is unrated it’s definitely not the sort of show to watch on a full stomach and definitely not the kind of show for people who think licking an old Hindu fellow’s foot is kind of weird. Watch out for cameo’s from Johnny Knoxville and Wee Man but the show is Wildboyz through and through.

ANY SPECIAL FEATURES?

There is a big stack of extras from a whole heap of never before seen segments, numerous out-takes and stuff ups; A featurette Wildboyz Unclothed (not again surely) that takes us behind the scenes of the show; A trivia game and encyclopedia about the show; A photo gallery, a bite list and all the unbleeped out language you can handle. The set also features extensive audio commentaries from the boys as well as Knoxville and Wee Man.

If Wildboyz was a country it would be absurdistan, go spend some time there.
