two covers The Crucifixion and never has there been a more iconic image
than of the crucifixtion of Jesus Christ, the earliest known images date
from the 5th century but the most impressive is a series of frescos and
sculptures from the 15th century that can be found in Varello, Northern
Italy. Modern artist Sebastian Horsley took his inspiration for his
version from a visit to the Phillipines where he experienced the
sensation of crucifixion first hand.
